Qin

I. Early Years

He was born Prince Zheng of the royal family of the state of Qin
(c. 259 BCE).

He was only thirteen when he first took rule over China

His parents were King Zhuangxiang of Qin and Queen Dowager Zhao of Qin.

-He faced death about three times, when he was tried to be killed.
B.
-He created the Great Wall of China to protect him and his people from invaders.

-He became the first emperor of China.
III. Personal Attributes (characteristics)
A.
-He was one of the strictest leaders in China's history, and he didn't et his people
have certain rights, such as what their religion was.
B.
- He was very cruel and was a tyrant, he took advantage of his power and used it to his own advantage.
C.
-He would punish anyone and everyone who denied him and disrespected his ruling.
IV. Contributions

- Qin had built the Great Wall of China.
B.
- He divided China into 36 districts, and he replaced the government with one he ruled and controlled alone.

- Qin made trading easier by standardizing weights, money, and measures.

- He had also unified China.
V. My Impressions
A.
- I think that Qin was an over-controlling man who unfortunately made China very successful, making me neutral on my opinion. Although, I do not think that he was a good choice for the first emperor of China.

- Although Qin was harsh, he did go out of his way to protect China by building the Great Wall.
